Since the early 14th century, the tradition of glass blowing can be found in Austria. The Zalto Family, whose roots reach back to the famous glass artisans of Venice, settled in the region six-generations ago. The family’s pursuit of perfection and dedication to tradition consistently raised the standards of Austrian glass blowing.
But it wasn’t until 200 years later that Zalto built a worldwide reputation with the launch of something new and extraordinary. Developed from 2001 to 2004 with Austrian priest and wine expert Hans Denk, they launched their Denk’Art collection in 2006. Praised by wine experts around the world, Zalto Glass went on to win international awards for their Denk’Art collection. Durable, lead-free, resistant to clouding, and dishwasher safe, Denk’Art can be used for both special occasions and everyday use.
