In 1934, the ocean liner Normandie set sail from Le Havre to New York. First class passengers sat down to a dinner table graced with one of the most striking flatware patterns of the Art Deco period, Normandie. Designed by Jean Puiforcat, the 4th generation member of the house of Puiforcat who, with his brilliant designs, propelled the company to the cutting edge of modern silversmithing. More than 80 years later, this sophisticated line maintains every last vestige of its modernity.
