Designed by Gio Ponti during his tenure as artistic director of the Manifattura (1923–1933), the Catene collection embodies his radical reinvention of porcelain. Created in 1926, the design features interlinked rectangular rings—a stylized chain that is both refined and boldly dynamic. Minimal yet expressive, the geometric motif animates plates, cups, and serving pieces with a continuous rhythm of color. The collection is offered in six sophisticated hues.
