This backgammon is handmade using the art of marquetry which is the art and craft of applying pieces of veneer to a structure to form decorative patterns and designs. The skillful staff use this method in order to create the interior design of the backgammon.
The rich coloring and stunning patterns of the walnut trunk wood, make this veneer ideal for creating this one-of-a-kind backgammon. You will never find two pieces of walnut trunk to be alike, even if the backgammon is made from the same piece of wood the appearance of it will always differ. The playing field is a combination of Thermo Oak veneer with walnut & Oak inlaid points.
